The Power Of The Small Report

Last week I mentioned how everybody has an e-book idea that they can create and sell. If you've never done it before, it seems like a big task.

Don't let the idea of creating some awesome piece of content stop you from getting started. You don't have to spend weeks and countless hours to create an e-book.

You can get started with the small report.

A small report is not a new idea. It's been around for several years, and for good reason. They are quick to put together, and they focus on one solution to one problem.

It doesn't have to be a big problem. It can be something as simple as how to install a plug-in or a theme on your blog. Believe it or not, there are people who are struggling to do this.

Even though there is a lot of free information online on these topics, people will pay for a report that shows them exactly how to do it, without them having to spend the time searching online for a solution.

This is just an example, but there are always people who want a solution, and are willing to pay for it.

Your small report doesn't have to be long. It can be a couple of pages up to 10 or 12 pages. You can write the text, add screenshots were appropriate, download as a PDF, and you have a product that you can sell.

It doesn't have to take long to get this done. You don't have to be perfect, because you're just trying to fix one thing, the thing that your buyers are willing to pay you to solve for them.

These reports can be sold for 7-17 dollars. It's a small risk for your buyers, and a great way to get them to see the value that you can provide for them, leading to more sales down the road.

Small reports are a great way to get started with your own information products that you can sell and keep all the profits. Once you get the first one done, and get a little confidence, you start adding here catalog of products.

In no time, you may find that you have several small reports on the same topic. To create a higher ticket product, you can combine these reports into one course and sell it for much more.

Small reports can be used as entry-level products to get people to buy from you, and you can also give them away as the lead magnet to build your list.

Set a goal to create your first small report. Don't worry, you don't have to sell it if you don't want to. Just get it created and see how it turns out.

I'll have more to say on this in future emails, but I hope this helps.
