Private label rights are a good way to get the content you need for your business. There are countless websites where you can get private label rights products. The problem is that a lot of the sites, while being inexpensive, offer low quality or outdated content.
There are also some membership sites where you pay monthly for access to a catalog of private label rights products where you can download what you need. While the monthly cost is not too bad, you may find that you have to download and inspect a lot of content before you find something that you can use.
When you think about it, if you're paying less than $10 a month for unlimited downloads, you can't expect to get top quality content.
That's not to say that you can't find some real gems on these PLR membership sites, or that they are a waste of money. Just don't expect to get products that you can sell without editing them ahead of time.
If you are just getting started and money is tight, a low cost membership in a PLR site can be a good investment. You'll just have to make sure to edit the content before you use it to make sure that your readers like what they see.
In addition to PLR membership sites, there have been some really nice private label rights offers they come with everything you need to sell the content.
Typically, you'll get the main guide, the sales page, and opt in page, a lead magnet, articles, and email series, and more.
This type of product gives you everything you need to sell the guide that is included in the package. All you really need to do is upload the webpages, include your own order links, link your opt in form to your autoresponder, and you're in business.
When you sell ready-made private label rights products, you have the advantage of being able to sell it quickly. What you have to keep in mind is that there are, in some cases, several hundred people who also purchased the same package.
If you're selling the same thing as a lot of other people, you have a lot of competition. What I've seen is that this leads to price wars.
What this means is that while it may be recommended that you can sell this product for $27, you may find that your competition is selling for $17. To compete you have to lower your price.
Once you lower your price, your competition may end up lowering their's even more. This makes it hard to make sales and to make profits. The only way around this is to make the PLR that you purchased completely original and unique.
While I do like private label rights products as a way to get your own products to sell, and I like the idea of editing them so that you can make them your own, I would like to suggest a more profitable way for you to make more profits.
This isn't a new idea, and it is not something I came up with on my own. This is something that has been done for years. The idea is simple and brilliant at the same time.
To make this work for you, what you need to do is to create your own products first. A product that provides value to your buyers, and that you have sold a few to satisfied customers.
The way to make this work even better than private label rights products, is in addition to offering your unique product for sale, you can offer your customers the option to purchase private label rights from you.
Here's how it works.
You create an awesome information product. Create the sales page and the download page. And you offer the product for $27. This is just an example.
Because you are offering private label rights to a product that is awesome and is selling right now for $27, you can charge a lot more for the private label rights.
What seems to work really well is to charge five times what the product cost. In other words, your $27 product with private label rights would cost $135.
The package would include the sales page, the download page, the product, and the product files that are editable so your buyer can make changes if they want to. You would also include private label rights license that tells them what they can and can't do with the product.
Selling private label rights yourself can make you a lot of money. The reason this works so well is because your offering rights on products that are high quality and are already selling on their own.
The product is so good that they don't have to edit it if they don't want to. This type of private label rights product is more valuable for your buyer.
Another way that you can justify the higher cost is to limit the number of licenses that you sell. For example, if you just offer 100 licenses, that would limit the competition that your buyers would face.
Add to that the fact that not everyone buys the private label rights will actually use what they purchased.
This way of building your business may take time to get started. To make it work, you would have to have sales in the first place, and satisfied customers. But over time, once you get a reputation for delivering great value, private label rights could be the key to increasing your profitability.
You don't have to stick to this pricing model. In fact, I know of a very successful marketer who offers private label rights for 1 1/2 times what the product sells for.
It's probably a good idea to start smaller and ask less for the private label rights until you get a good reputation.
Private label rights products can be a good investment, but if you're the seller, it could turn into a Goldmine. To your continued success...
